There is a lot of focus on waste at the moment with the three part series "War on Waste" on the ABC with Craig Reucassel, who is on a mission to see if, as a nation, we can reduce our waste.
One such area of waste accumulation is the recent introduction and increase in usage of disposable kitchen bench and floor wipes for cleaning. The "one-use" wipes might do a good job at wiping the bench, but go towards our amassing waste issues.
Why not replace these wipes with a reusable, washable and 100% biodegradable bench wipe.
The RetroKitchen dish cloth is made from a blend of cotton and cellulose.
Not only are they super absorbent, they can be machine washed, last about 4 - 6 months and when worn out, can be put in the compost or worm farm, completing the cycle back to soil to regrow out next plants.
Every little bit helps.
